This group is for Chicago Area developers and designers of all makes and models to get together and drink alcohol (or some other poison), showcase their work, share tips and techniques, and find full time and contract work opportunities. We invite group members to submit ideas to talk about.  Bring a laptop or a tablet, a sketchpad or an etch-a-sketch.  We don't care. We are technology agnostic and just want to have drinks and meet other folk who know our woes.

Heroku User Groups (HUGS) are a casual gatherings of developers who are interested in learning about Heroku technologies. It provides developers an opportunity to explore Heroku (a polygot platform), as well learn how to run and scale any type of app, written in Java, Ruby, Node.js, Clojure, Python or Scala. This is a great place to meet Heroku experts and network with peer.
